Tribus Interior Design manages dozens of interior design projects every year. They order furniture and small items to partially or fully furnish homes in North and South Carolina. Tribus needs a facility to receive, catalog, and hold pieces as ordered and shipped for their clients until their home is ready. Often, these items arrive within different timeframes or require special handling.
UTS receives shipments via LTL freight, customer drop-offs, pickups from factories, UPS/FedEx, USPS, and other carriers to Tribus. All items are accepted into an electronic system, cataloging inventory for each client. Tribus is automatically notified when items have been received into the warehouse and can access the customer portal to view the list.
UTS consolidates the inventory until Tribus is ready to install the client’s home. UTS transports the stock to the house for installation. Installation includes delivery, unboxing, assembly, placement, and removal of debris to the landfill.
